With over 15 years in the cannabis industry and experience across 8 states, Luca Boldrini has earned his mastery in the arena of commercial cannabis cultivation. Luca entered the industry in 2008 as an entrepreneur and cultivator by self-funding and operating grow operations across California. Specializing in hydroponics, he consistently achieved vigorous growth rates and high yields that drove his career forward.
Building upon his achievements in California, Luca relocated to Colorado in 2014 where he designed and managed one of the first and largest indoor deep-water culture facilities. In 2019, Luca transitioned into the role of director of cultivation for Curaleaf Connecticut, where he skillfully transitioned the company from soil to high performance rockwool hydroponics in a new state of the art facility.
In 2021, Luca joined Standard Wellness as the National Director of Cultivation. With his strategic leadership and team management skills, he was instrumental in expanding the national cultivation footprint by 300%, while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Luca has extensive experience with a wide breadth of hydroponic media including rockwool, coco, and deep-water culture. He has grown successfully under all forms of artificial lighting and room designs, including two- and three-tier LED flower rooms, which he believes is the future of the industry. Although Luca is a specialist in controlled indoor grow environments, his abilities reach beyond these confines, with proven success in both greenhouse and outdoor cultivation.
Luca's experience spans from the initial 'gold rush' phase of the cannabis industry to the highly competitive landscape it is today. Recognizing the unique challenges and opportunities within the cannabis industry, Luca co-founded CO-LAB Consulting. Harnessing his extensive knowledge and experience, the mission is to guide companies through the intricate landscape of commercial cannabis cultivation. In addition to his consultancy work, Luca has channeled his insights and strategies into the co-authored book, '≥100g per sqft,' aiming to set a gold standard for cannabis cultivation techniques and insights.

Chris O'Ferrell, a former Marine Corps infantryman, brings his illustrious background in service and leadership to the cannabis industry. With extensive experience in both medical and recreational markets across 8 states, his career is defined by innovation, growth, and remarkable achievements.
Chris’s cannabis journey began in the sprawling terrains of Colorado with Native Roots, where he contributed to their massive 200,000-square-foot facility in Denver, endearingly termed the “mothership.” With a penchant for knowledge dissemination, he later affiliated with the Cleveland School of Cannabis. Here, he played a pivotal role in developing the commercial cultivation operations and the cannabis cultivation curriculum, fostering the next generation of cannabis professionals.
In 2019, Chris ascended to the role of Director of Cultivation for Curaleaf. His leadership saw the birth of a state-of-the-art multi-tiered cannabis cultivation operation in Columbus, Ohio. Beyond facility management, he wore many hats – from designing and licensing to staff training, genetics sourcing, and much more. Deep Roots recognized Chris's undeniable expertise for growth and innovation, ushering him in as their Senior Director of Cultivation in late 2021. Under his aegis, Deep Roots witnessed over a 100% increase in their gram per sqft average, so far.
Chris is also co-authoring a cannabis cultivation book titled, “≥100g per sqft.” This literary endeavor underscores his deep-rooted commitment to pushing the boundaries of cultivation knowledge.
